Now my spouse and my children are staying in a rented condo. If I were to purchase my parents' resale HDB with spouse and children as essential occupiers. Are we still allowed to continue our condo lease agreement?

Yes you may do so as there is currently no regulations on HDB owners or occupiers with houses not yet MOP in renting out a condo unit. Do contact me at 93375051  for a free and non obligatory discussion on this.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reply. If I am sole owner of resale hdb and got divorce before MOP (5 Years) do I still get to retain the resale hdb and that my spouse who is essential occupier will be removed.

There's no restriction stopping you from buying over a resale HDB and renting a private property.

Just wondering why will you want to do so?
