My son just bought a resale 4-room HDB flat naming my wife and me as essential occupier. Now I want to move to live with my daughter and change my residential to the new place. Will that affect the eligibility of family nucleus.

It will depend on whether are you the essential occupier of the HDB flat. If you are, then his MOP count will likely halt if you move out of the flat.

Hi,

1) Technically, all owners and occupiers are supposed to stay in the flat until the completion of MOP.
2) If you only planned to toggle between your son's & daughter's place, it should be fine.
3) There are also no changes to the residential address are necessary.
4) But if the shift is going to be permanent. Then you are not allowed to do so unless you had planned to end your marriage with your wife.
5) In this case, you must start the legal separation process.
6) You will have to submit the signed legal separation documents and appeal to the HDB to allow you to shift out alone.

Did your son receive any Proximity Housing Grant in this case? Also if he is under 35 years old, with you moving out as essential occupier, he will be ineligible to own this flat on his own.
