Hi Mrs Koh,

If you are buying a resale HDB flat, you are require to stay for 5 years before you are able to buy another pte property.

If you are buying a resale EC, you can buy another pte property any time.

Afternoon Mrs. Koh,

Resale EC is considered as private property hence there will not be any debarment when yuo intend to purchase any private property. As for HDB, you are eligible to purchase resale HDB unit but will only be eligible to purchase further properties after fulfilling 5 years MOP.

Hi Mrs Koh,

You are eligible to purchase both resale HDB and EC, if new HDB or EC, you have to wait for 30 months before you can proceed.

If you purchase a resale HDB, you have to wait for its minimum occupation period of 5 years to fulfill before you can proceed to purchase a private property.

If you choose to purchase a resale EC, you can proceed to purchase any other private property but when you decide to purchase a resale HDB after buying a resale EC. You have to sell off your resale EC within 6 months from completion of resale HDB purchase and will be subject to seller's stamp duty for your EC if you choose to sell it within 4 years.
