Good morning,

you can purchase a HDB under non citizen spouse scheme if you want to proceed as foreigner and both of you must be married.

Do bear in mind that you are only eligible to purchase a private property be it in Singapore or overseas only after 5 years minimum occupation period is met.

Yes you will be able to buy a property in Malaysia but you will have to wait for a minimum of 5 years MOP after you get your resale or BTO unit.

Hi,

1) I would suggest you buy an HDB flat after receiving the PR status.
2) There is a difference of $30k (CPF housing grant) and $10k (proximity grant) between buying under the Non-Citizen Spouse Scheme and the fiance/fiancee scheme.
3) You may buy a commercial or an industrial property if you need it for running your business. You are still eligible to buy an HDB flat if only buying one.
4) But you will no longer be eligible to buy an HDB flat once you buy a residential property.
