Good afternoon mohamed,

Your mom is essential occupier?

is your sister's flat still under MOP?

Can she owns the flat by herself (meet hdb eligibility conditions and financially)?

Hope my sharing helps in aiding in your enquiry. May I know how can I value add further in your property needs?

Best regards,

YT Tan

Hi Abdullah,

1) You will need to find out was your mother an essential occupier in your sister's HDB flat. Meaning your sister (single) jointly applies for the flat with your mother in order to be eligible for the application.
2) If your mother is not an essential occupier of your sister's flat. She can buy resale or apply for BTO (as long as she did not enjoy subsidize twice).
3) If your mother is an essential occupier, and your sister is already at or over 35 yrs old. Your mother can buy resale or apply for BTO (as long as she did not enjoy subsidize twice) after fulfilling the 5 yrs MOP.
4) There is no debarred period when moving from HDB to HDB, other than the 5 yrs MOP.

Hope the above answer to your main concerns, but if there are more query, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
I'll be glad to assist.

Best regards
