Good morning! Both of you are eligible to purchase resale EC. Resale EC are considered private property thus you don't have to dispose off your overseas property after you purchase it. Whereas for new EC, one of you need to be a Singapore citizen and have to dispose off your overseas property and observe a 30 months waiting period before you can apply. Hope it helps!
