My Answer with regards to your Question:

If your husband's mother purchased the HDB flat while she was a Singapore Citizen (SC), and if your husband currently owns an HDB flat with you, he cannot inherit his mother's HDB flat. This is because HDB flat owners are not allowed to own more than one HDB flat concurrently. At least one of the HDB flats must be sold before acquiring another residential property.
