Hi Amy,

1) If this flat was bought using cash only and without any outstanding mortgage, then it is just a matter of adding your name in.
2) Otherwise, this could be considered as a part-sale arrangement, you may refer to below on part-selling:
https://www.hdb.gov.sg/residential/living-in-an-hdb-flat/changing-owners-occupiers/change-in-ownership/resale-of-partshare

3) Under a part-sales arrangement, you are subject to buyer stamp duty.
4) There is no levy involved in part sales.
5) I would highly recommend you submit your question to the HDB on the process and the best way to go for it. As this is solely handled by the HDB:
https://services2.hdb.gov.sg/webapp/BF12AWFeedback/BF12SFrontController?service=ServiceFeedback&operation=createFeedback

6) You could also enquire whether you are eligible for the citizen top-up grant under this situation.

Hope the above answer your main concerns, but if there are more query, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
I'll be glad to assist.
