My fiancee bought a condo last year and I current own a 4 room HDB flat with my parents. When we get married, since I will be staying with my wife, can I sell my current hdb and buy a 3 room flat for my parents?

Afternoon Francis,

In your terms "buy a 3 room flat for my parents", are you refering to buying HDB unit, under your name and let your parents stay in it or buy a 3 room flat under your parents name but you are paying for the mortgage? You are required to fulfill your MOP for the current unit before you can sell it in the open market.

    I actually meant to buy a 3 room flat together with my parents before I get married and I have already lived in my current flat for 9 years, think that is more than the MOP.
