My family would like to buy a resale EA near Pasir Ris MRT. However, I need to sell my condo before I can buy. I am aware that proper timing is crucial in order to minimise any use of cash, as I intend to finance the purchase of the HDB EA totally with our CPF funds. Can you advise?

Morning Darren,

Work out on the returns that you can get from selling against the pricing of the unit which you are keen on. Check with the bank on how much you can loan before starting to market your unit and hunting, depending on your needs and requirements. We should start marketing your condo and the same time, starting looking for an EA.

Sell your condo first, and get bridging loan for the purchase. Ensure the completion of the condo to be after the completion of the EA purchase.
