My daughter is overseas. She and I wish to buy a resale HDB flat jointly. Can she sign the resale documents (e.g. bank mortgage loan documents, Option to Purchase, application form etc.) electronically?

Hi,

Official document like OTP has to be sign via wet ink, and cannot be done electronically. She may wish to appoint a Power of Attorney to act on behalf of her purchase, or to sign the the OTP in the presence of the Notary Public in the country of her residence, and the send back the documents via courier mail.

I am experienced and well-versed in both HDB and private transactions. I will be able to assist you in your property plans. Please get in touch with me for a more in-depth discussion.
