My brother has living abroad for more than 10 years now, but he still holds the Singapore citizenship. He is interested in investing in a condo in Singapore.

He doesn’t have any income source in Singapore as his business are overseas. Let’s assume he is servicing one bank loan for his property overseas. Can he still buy a condo in Singapore and get full 80% bank loan from a bank in Singapore?

Thank you.

Hi,

May I have the opportunity to recommend some bankers you can work with? They have experience with such cases, and they will give you an indication on how much financing the banks are willing to support. Thanks and hope to speak soon.

Warm regards,

Good evening,

It will be best for my banker to advise your brother on his in principle approval first so he can gauge how much loan can he obtain before we do the house hunting.

Hope to hear from you guys soon!
