Hi,

Unfortunately single divorcee aged 35 years and above can only apply for 2room BTO in non mature estates. He can also get any resale HDB as long as he is 35 years and above.

Hi,

If your brother remains unmarried, he will not be eligible to apply for a 3RM or bigger HDB flat. He will only be allowed to apply for a 2RM flat in a non-matured estate.

He will also not qualify for any CPF Housing Grant. In fact, not only is he not able to get grant, he will also need to pay a resale levy should he get his second "subsidized housing".

He could however get a resale HDB flat of any size in the open market. He could also qualify for Proximity Housing Grant if he purchase a flat within 4km to his parents residence.

He is only able to purchased a 2 room bto in a non mature estates area as a single and no grant will be given since he is a second timer. In addition, he is also needs to pay a resale levy in cash since his first flat is a subsidised one. He can only apply for a 3 or 4 room bto if he gain custody of his children and his children is named as one of the occupier. He is no longer eligible for any grant except for proximity housing grants (live with/near parents) for resale flats. However if he remarry and his wife is a first timer, he might be eligible for CPF grants based on his wife status as a first timer.
