Hi Ms Susan,

1. You will not be eligible for any such application before your MOP is fulfilled.

2. If your financial status is healthy to make the necessary payment for your next new HDB property, you need not to dispose your current unit first. You will be given 6mth grace period to dispose your current flat after collection of new keys. Hence there is no rush for you to dispose current flat & face dilemma during the transtition.

Hi Susan,

I suggest you check with HDB on your MOP status and whether you can purchase new DBSS.

On HDB MOP, if you get your flat before
5th March 2010, your MOP is 2.5 yrs if you are taking HDB loan. 1 yr if you are taking bank loan. Basing on this rule, actually your MOP should be over. If you taking HDB loan, your MOP is Jan. 2011.
