My 5 room hdb flat in Punggol will only reach its MOP next year and we are thinking of upgrading to EC in Punggol.We want to sell our flat before we purchase an EC to avoid the ABSD.We hope to move in asap after selling our flat.By then 2014,will there be any resale EC or balance units available in Punggol?

Dear sir/madam,

Fret not about the situation now. You are unable to make any moves right now so why worry? Who knows if the ABSD will be lifted for Singaporeans since the government has mentioned that these are temporary measures? You still have a good 11 months at least to go before the arrival of 2014. Perhaps you can then work out a series of options when the time is nearer.
