Me and my girlfriend are planning on settling down and wish to buy a home of our own. I am a PR and she is a Singaporean. I am not sure whether to buy a resale HDB flat or a condo. Can you help advice?

You need to consider the following factors before coming to possible conclusion:

1) What is your budget for the purchase?
2) What type of sizing are you looking at?
3) What type of lifestyle are both of you into?
4) What type of convenience are you into?
5) How long you intend to stay in upcoming purchased unit?
6) Do you have intention to purchase more properties down the road?
7) Will either of you be assigned overseas for long term posting?
