Me an My Husband are PR,We are buying resale HDB,We had decided that we will sell our home country house within 6 months after the OTP.But i have heard 1 more HDB Clause that i cannot Buy HDB at least for next 30 months after selling my home country property..Is it TRUE???

Afternoon,

Under the current regulation, you are supposed to sell away your private property, within 6 months from key collection of your HDB unit.
As for the 30 months, or 2.5 years, I would assume you are referring to the rental of subsidized HDB unit, after sales of property.

Just to add, the 30 months is enforced if you are taking the HDB loan. As both you and ur hubby is PR, you are not entitiled to HLE. So this rule do not affect you guys.

You can buy with a Bank loan, then seel off your overseas property wihin 6 months of keys collection. Read More
