You might want to confirm with your banker who prepared the Letter of Offer for you, as he/she will have the most accurate information.

A bank’s Letter of Offer (LO) in Singapore is usually valid for about 30 days from issuance, though some banks may extend it up to 3 months depending on their policy. If your seller is requesting to push back the completion date beyond the validity period, you should check directly with your bank or broker.

In most cases, if it lapses, the bank can re-issue or extend it, but this may be subject to a fresh credit assessment and prevailing interest rates (which could change).

If your completion date is shifting, best to:
1. Inform your banker immediately.
2. Request for an extension or revalidation of the LO.
