Hi Karim, if you are referring to HDB, it needs to be done together. It is often referred to as contra. That way you do not need to fork out additional money at the initial stage of the purchase.

If you are referring to private property, it is always more prudent to all first before making the purchase. Because if you can put a term in the purchase that you require the buyer to allow you to rent the property for a period of time after completion to allow you more time to find a suitable home.

I have just sold a 5 room in your neghbourhood 3 months ago , 810k / cov 50k low floor unit ,
Incidentally they are lke you , sell / buy and hopefully no need to shift twice , my seller is fortunate to buy another resale hdb immediately after selling theirs , however i have to stress they were not very particular / fussy when finding replacement resale hdb , therefore shift only once .
