May I know what happen when a co-applicant/occupier pass away before the completion of a BTO sales process (e.g. before signing of agreement or before the collection of key)?
Will the whole process void?
I was thinking of applying the newly launch BTO (King George’s Height) with my aged parents (age80+). Thank you.

Hi,

1) If the application is due to one of the co-applicants passing away does not affect the eligibility scheme. The application will still be valid and everything should proceed according to plan.
2) However if the application became invalid when the passed away co-applicant affects the eligibility. You will have to bring all the legal documents available to the HDB to appeal.
