Sure will be glad to share more over email. Are you looking at the condos near Simei MRT? It might be better to do the sale and purchase concurrently to avoid the ABSD outlay upfront and as it also takes time to secure a reasonable offer.

Hi Michael,

Congrats on embarking on the first step towards upgrading! To kick off the upgrading process, you will need to first know your current financial position after selling off your current flat. This can be done by determining your Sales Proceed and CPF refunds after the sale of your flat.

Next, you will need to right size your purchase of the condo. You can find out how much loan you are eligible for and how long the tenure is. With these information, you will be able to find out what is the quantum of the unit that you can afford comfortably.

Condos such as Modena and Double Bay are good options as they have good layout and are within walking distance to the MRT. If you prefer peace and tranquillity, Savannah is a good option.

For such an upgrade, the timeline planning is also very important as with careful planning, you will be able to transit smoothly from your current flat to the new condo without the need to rent an interim place and also have some buffer renovation time for the condo purchased.

I am very familiar with Simei estate and have done record high prices for 3 room and Executive units there recently. Please feel free to contact me so that I can gather more information from you before drawing up a comprehensive upgrading plan for you!
