Prices in the real estate market is largely determined by supply and demand factors. There is a steep rise in rental and sales prices in the last 24 months. Hugely due to limited supply and higher demand for real estate in Singapore.

Yes indeed. Price movements are largely influenced by the supply and demand of units available. With Covid-19, it has resulted in delays for many sectors and the construction sector is deeply impacted where schedules have fallen way behind therefore many home buyers have no choice but to rent in the interim while waiting for their properties to be completed before they move in. This has caused great competition to the rental market and resulted in rental price hitting record high. We are expecting this trend to last for another year or so.
