1) No one can forecast the future, especially since the property market is closely monitored by the govt.
2) Cooling measures intervention happened from time to time and the building number of HDB flats is in constant changes. Thus difficult to forecast.
3) The price of resale might move up or down depending on the general trend. Currently, it is moving upwards.
4) Assuming the general direction is moving upward, your newly MOP flat will likely receive a profit provided you didn't pay a high COV for it now.
5) You can only apply for a BTO after you meet your MOP. Meaning you properly can only sell in 10 yrs' time not the 5 yrs of MOP only if you prepare to switch from current to BTO directly without renting in-between.
