I have to ask why Dakota area? Perhaps I can share more information with you that if you are purely looking at buying for investment through rental, it is likely that as long as price fits your investment portfolio, anytime should be a good time as long as rental price in the area is decent as should the market indeed gors through correction, available units for sale maybe limited and with investors and buyers coming out in force to get a bargain buy, there wouldn't be too much difference from now.
