Is there such a thing that couples have to pay 10% downpayment without grants? We are looking at Nov 2021 BTO
Person A: Started first job in july 2020 and started 3rd job in Sep 2021
Person B: Started first job in July 2020 and rest 2 weeks and got hired in july 2021
Consecutive 12 months means in the same job for 12 months OR it can be accumulated like person B? Technically i was jobless for 2 weeks tor person B

Hi,

1) Only EHG is available for BTO applications. You may check below on how much you could be eligible for:
https://www.hdb.gov.sg/cs/infoweb/residential/buying-a-flat/new/schemes-and-grants/cpf-housing-grants-for-hdb-flats/firsttimer-applicants

2) Grants received can be used to pay for the 10% down payment if you are eligible for the HDB loan.

3) All HDB loan application is subject to the HDB discretion and interpretation. I'm afraid I'm unable to give you a definite answer on your 12-months working condition whether it is acceptable to the HDB.
I believed they will deal with it on a case-by-case basis.
