Good day Ms Rosita,

I assumed the "resident", you are referring to PR.

According to HDB eligiblity: the basic status requirement are as follow:
(a) At least 2 PR holding PR status for 3 years.
(b) 1x SC
(c) 1x SC + foreigner
(d) 1x SC + PR (no 3 yrs constraint)

So the status mentioned in your query did not meet the requirement.

It does not matter how many person contribute CPF. CPF is not the only way to pay for the property. The main concern you should consider is whether you are able to finance the property.

Hope the above answer to your main concerns, but if there are more queries, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
I'll be glad to assist.

Best regards
