Absd will only have to be paid when you are purchasing a second property without selling the first one.

Hi,

If you plan to buy first before selling, ABSD is applicable if you are buying private property. For New EC, or HDB, ABSD is not required as you have to sign undertaking to sell existing property.

Typically I will coordinate the timelines for my client and do both concurrently. It will be timed such that the sale OTP will be exercised first before you exercise your purchase OTP, so to avoid the ABSD outlay upfront. I have assisted various clients to successfully transit smoothly and will be happy to share more at 97432395  .
