Condo and HDB have their appreciate value but are subjected to economic and political changes. Both new launch and resale condo, not forgetting HDB resale, are onto the downside, due to the cooling measure. As for the term of capital appreciation, HDB have lower capital risk while condo requires larger capital involvement. As all financial adviser would indicate: Lower rise, lower return. It would boil down to what's your capital outlay and holding period.
