Good morning Zehao,

You can try to appeal to hold on to your overseas property before you commence to purchase a HDB.

Do take note you have to buy with your married spouse (SC or SPR). If both of you are SPR, you have to be SPR for minimum 3 years individually and ABSD of 5% will be applicable as well.

You can only appeal to HDB and hope they accept your appeal in retaining the overseas property. Do gather all necessary supporting documents and reasons for doing so to increase the chances.

You can try to appeal to HDB to hold onto your overseas property before you commence to purchase the resale hdb.

Both you and your spouse has to attain SPR status of 3 years each before you are eligible to purchase resale HDB. Do note 5% ABSD applies as well.
