Hi,

1) Only 1st timer couple is eligible for a family grant. Thus whether to add your mother in your application as owner or occupier will not affect the grants.
2) In your case, if you are at or above 35 yrs old. You shall be eligible for the single grant:

3) If you are under 35 yrs old. You can be the sole owner or include your mother as an owner whichever arrangement is possible.
4) The arrangement will not affect your loan nor your eligibility or grant if applicable.

The amount of Grant you can qualify depends on your nationality, age, and your Mother's marital status.

If you're Singaporean Single above 35, by purchasing with your Mother, who's also a first timer Singapore, will get the full grant.

If you are below 35, and your Mother is married to a SC/SPR, you will also be entitled to full grant.

You may also qualify for Proximity Housing Grant and Enhanced Housing Grant if you meet the eligibility conditions.
