Im planning to buy a resale flat with my dad from the open market. As he sold his flat 10years ago. Does he have to pay any fees to hdb before purchasing a flat?

Afternoon,

For resale unit, your father do not need to pay resale levy. If you are looking at HDB loan, then he might be required to utilize 50% of the cash profit during the sales, before HDB will loan you the balance.
