I"m planning to buy a home this year. But from past exp. with agents I find the previous ones not trustworthy (try to sell something I do not want or do double representation). When one chooses a business here< we look at case Trust. what about agents? what type of certification? any diff bwt agent and real estate agent terminology? Thanks>

All the real estate agent right now are CEA certified, thus you won't be able to encounter similar case now.

Afternoon Candy,

All estate salesperson are currently approved by CEA. As for whether individual salesperson is person is trustworthy or not, it should be clear during a simple presentation when you interview the salesperson. I believe that only those who are willing to work in their client's favor gets the pie though not all clients think so.
