Good afternoon Sir/ Mdm,

you will be considered as first timer as long as you never pay for your existing house (Of course mah, you inherited).

As BTO is considered a subsidised flat, you are still eligible for enhanced housing grant (EHG) if you meet the eligibility conditions.

Hope my sharing helps in aiding in your enquiry. May I know how can I value add further in your property needs?

Best regards,

Hi,

1) You are considered a 1st timer thus enjoy the priority to get a BTO/SBF. Meaning the chances of being chosen in balloting is higher than 2nd timer.
2) BTO/SBF is considered subsidized compared to the resale HDB flat. Although you might feel that the BTO is also very expensive.
3) But when you compare them side-by-side, a 99 yrs old lease BTO/SBF is selling at the same price as a resale flat which left the remaining lease of 70~80 yrs is considered cheaper.
4) The additional grants available for BTO/SBF are EHG & SHG up to $80k & if you are eligible for it:
