Yes, you will be able to do so. Do also take note that there will be a 5% Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty applicable on your purchase on top of the normal buyer's stamp duty.

It will be great if you are able to share more details of your intended purchase. Is it more inclined towards for your own stay when you are in Singapore or geared more towards rental in the future?

For private condos, you can keep the ownership of the property even if you return to Malaysia. Yes you can rent it out and use the rental income to cover the mortgage.

There are no restrictions in SPR (or foreigners) owning and renting out their private properties in Singapore, hence you will not be forced to sell off your condo even if you were to decide to renounce your SPR. You can still own it while being a foreigner, and rent the condo out.

Vise versa , P r hdb owners cannot keep their hdb if they surrender their p r or lost their p r , which means force to sell regardless of market Timing conditions .

P r cannot be landlord of their hdb too , p r hdb home is strictly for self-stay .
