I'm looking for a 3 bedroom unit near Nan Hua Pr Sch (preferably walking distance) with a budget of $950k max. Hopefully can enjoy capital appreciation in future years. I currently own a hdb fully paid and i dont intend ti sell the hdb. Monthly income ~9k, cash available $180k, CPF $15k. Am I in good position to buy a 2nd property?

Will use it for own stay for few years and hopefully the pte property will have capital appreciation in years to come.

Any recommendations in terms of the suitable condos to look at?

Hi Lemon Tree,

There are quite a few condo near Nan Hua Pri, such as Park West, Botannia, Faber Crest, The Infiniti, Regent Park etc.

However, I am afraid that you will not be able to get a 3 bedroom with $950k, the 3 bedroom at these projects are going for $1.2 mil minimum. You may want to consider 2 bedroom, you should be able to get one within $950k.

Lastly, with $180k cash and $15k CPF, you have just enough for the downpayment. Not to forget you still need to fork out approx $23k for the stamp duty.
