I'm looking for a 2 to 3 bedder for purpose of investment (rental yield and future capital appreciation) in view of the current drop in private property prices. Prefer somewhere near to MRT and on the city fringe. 1st time buyer, single, able to obtain max loan, no debt. Annual income 10k.

Am fine with resale or new.

Yes,Bartley Ridge is an excellent choice for investment given its close proximity to MRT and to the city. However,so sorry to inform you that there is no more 2 / 3 bedders left.. only left with 2+ Study penthouse / 3+ Study penthouse or 4 dual key units.. Price from $1.441M only.. I also have a new launch that have 2 /3 bedders available and with nice scenic waterfront view..affordable quantum from $6xx K for the 2 bedders only.. I will love to assist you with your property purchase.

Other than these 3 properties, which are the districts or MRTs you are looking at?

If you can provide me with further requirements, it will be very helpful with my shortlisting of suitable units for you.

1) minimum size (eg. 800 sqft)
2) preferred floor level (eg. Mid and above)
3) no afternoon sun etc

Btw if you are looking at both rental and capital appreciation, you might have limited choices. Because the first owner has enjoyed the capital appreciation thus you might only be able to enjoy probably just a little. But if you are looking at rental prospect, probably can purchase a tenanted unit.

If not, you can choose to purchase a new launch and rent that unit out when it TOP. Better capital appreciation prospects just that, there won't be rental income during construction period.

Hope my opinions aid in your decision making.

I recently assisted a single female SPR buyer to purchase an unit close to Farrer Park MRT and she loves it. Freehold, 7 years old, tenanted and purchased it under valuation.
