If it is already in your OTP and you have a lawyer already appointed, you can check with the lawyer on next steps. The lawyer would review the wording and typically advise on extra matters like indemnity.

In any case, you can always check with your own agent on the next steps, especially if you had help from a professional buyer agent (it's free for condo buyers in Singapore). It will help to ensure you are not taken advantage of by the seller / seller agent.

Who prepares the extension agreement?
Usually the conveyancing lawyer will prepare it, because:
• It ties directly to completion and handover
• It must be aligned with the completion date
• It should clearly state rental amount, security deposit, handover condition, utilities, liability, and no further extension

Hi,

1) The agent had completed his duty by including the conditions after the sale completion.
2) The lawyer will takeover the process from the point the OTP is passed over to him.
3) The lawyers will decide whether it is essential to have an add-on notes for the extension.
4) You may highlight this point before meeting the lawyer for exercising the OTP.
