I'm a Singaporean with a foreigner husband who does not hold PR. We own a property overseas. I'm looking to buy an apartment 2-3room after I retire in 2 yrs' time. BTO or condo. Any advice in financing and essentials will be much appreciated.

Evening,

If you are looking at keeping your overseas property, the next best option would be private property. Condo or resale EC can be possible options. As for the financing aspect, without knowing which district you are looking at, the preferred sizing and type of holding, how much CPF you have in hand and how much loan you are eligible for, I'm unable to assist you further.

Do feel free to contact me should you be keen to understand more.

Hi CP,
Oversea property have to sell off if you purchase a HDB. Alternatively, you can purchase a private property what does not affect. As for the financial plan, kindly drop me an email for me to share with you the details.

Hi Mdm,

If you're looking for financing for your purchase, I would propose you purchase while you still draw an income. You may face some difficulty in financing if you retire and have no income.

It will be great if we can sit down and work out your needs and objectives, and then assess the options that are available for you.

Should you need any further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you and your partner in the current market.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Robbie Chen
