Hi Elyna, yes you are allowed to purchase a resale HDB unit even though your spouse is a foreigner, as that is your privilege being a citizen. But pls bear in mind that for the loan wise, the bank is only basing on your sole income to calculate the loan and cannot include your husband income as he is a foreigner. Don't get too confused. Let me clarify on this.

You are eligible to purchase a resale HDB under non citizen spouse scheme with your foreigner spouse just that he must have a valid visit pass or work pass at the point of application.

Btw do take note that only your income will be taken into consideration in the mortgage application.

Since you are SC, you can purchase resale HDB unit with your spouse under non-citizen spouse scheme. Application of loan will be based solely on your income. You will be the main applicant while your spouse will be the essential occupier.
