Apologies for the late reply because Propertyguru doesn't prompt me when there's a reply to my post.

In order to kick start your house hunting, I will advise you to speak to my banker/s first so they can advise how much bank loan can you obtain based on your income, age etc.

Provided you can obtain a 80% bank loan, you need to get ready 5% cash downpayment and 15% CPF downpayment. How much cash do you have on hand?

Other outlay will be:

1) estimated 3% buyer' stamp duty
2) $3k legal fee
3) stamp duty for mortgage
4) $200 valuation fee
5) $80 resale submission fee
6) 1% of purchase price as agent's commission
