Your HFE application can only be done 15 months after the sale of your private property. You are only eligible eligible for housing grants since you are a private property downgrader, unless you wait out a further 15 months and if you fit into the list of criteria in order to be eligible for any housing grant.

As you're below age 55, you will have to serve a wait-out period of 15 months before you can purchase a HDB resale flat.

If you're looking at SBF, the wait out period is 30 months. You are eligible for CPF Housing Grant if you had not gotten any previously, and you can only get the Grants (if eligible) after serving the 30-month wait out period.
