I'm 33 this year with a stable income. Single and staying with parents. Looking at buying a property for investment. Can someone advise me if i should just buy a condo now or wait two more years so that i am eligible for a HDB resale? What are the pros and cons?

If it is purely for investment puropose, may I humbly suggest you to consider commercial properties instead? Given that you also have plans to purchase a HDB when you are 35, this is likely the best option where you will not incur any SSD for selling your commercial property within the 2 years or you can still hold on to the commercial property if finances allow when you are ready to purchase your HDB.
