If we both have enough cpf to cover the purchase price of the hdb(Val + cov) do we still need to pay cov in cash?

Hi Mr Lim

COV can only be paid in Cash.

The breakdown for puchase of HDB unit:

Purchase price = Valuation + COV

If taking bank loan:

Bank Loan (80%) + CPF (15%) + Cash (5%) = Valuation (100%)+ COV (Cash Component)

1) COV
2) HDB resale submission
3) valuation report fee
4) 1% agent commission
5) HDB legal fees

Cov is cash over valuation and it means "cash" payable
