If my wife (Singaporean) and I (PR) wish to buy a landed property can she by the house in her name but we both obtain a mortgage to finance it? Or does the bank require me (PR) to have SLA approval to obtain a mortgage?

Hi, Mr Davies,

It is possible to put your wife's name in the purchase of the landed property. As for the mortgage, I can refer you to a bank that may assist you in obtaining a mortgage for you all. Should you required any assistance, please drop me an email or give me a call.
