Afternoon Steve,

Under the Fair Trade Act, sellers and buyers are to discuss the commission payable with the salesperson they engage. Though it's a standard practise that most of them would ask 2% from their seller. It's also dependent on your asking price and location of your unit.

Do feel free to contact me if you require my assistance.

Hi Steve,

Your worry should be if the salesperson you have engaged will be able to help you secure the sale at your desired price with the commission to be paid factored into the selling price. In that way, I am very sure that you will still be laughing even if you are paying more than the so called standard rates since you will also be earning more in the sales proceeds.

Nevertheless, there is no STANDARD commission in the market practise. Not now and not before. All commissions payable to the salesperson should be discussed and agreed upon prior to the sales transaction.

I am contactable through my almost 24hour hotline or email should you need further discussion on your sales transaction.
