If i were to rebuild a new house, and I understand the norm for rebuilding is around $300 psf for rebuilding, shld the $300 psf be multiplied by the GFA or the Built up area for an estimate?
Also, for a quotation of a $300psf rebuild, does this include:
1) marble flooring
2) Swimming pool
3) motorised lift
if not, how much should an estimate be to include all that

Dear sir/madam,

The ball park figure of $300psf is likely going to be the bare minimal therefore if you are looking to factor in pool, lift and marble flooring, you will probably need to work on a higher price estimate. In fact, we are quoting $300psf before the Circuit Breaker period. From my understanding, the construction costs has already gone up due to the COVID-19 measures, and depending on the location you are looking at, my understanding from developer is that BCA has also tightened the regulations in terms of the piling works required and this has resulted in most brand new landed houses in the market to increase price from $200k onwards.
