The initial loan structure is likely to be separated component but from what I used to understand, Standard Chartered has this option that may build in whatever outstanding amount of your reconstruction loan into your housing loan after TOP. It is best to speak to a banker who has good experience dealing with landed homes to begin with. I am working closely with 2 Standard Chartered bankers and 1 banker each from OCBC, DBS and UOB. If you wish to speak to any of them, let me know so that I can link you directly with them.
On the other hand, you may wish to consider brand new landed homes in the market? We have a huge collection of brand new landed homes for sale islandwide and such arrangements will likely reduce the headache 1 may have when it comes to working arrangments with the different contractors or builders.
