Hi Patrick,

For resale levy, it can only be paid in Cash, from your sale proceeds. Hence, if you are going through with those numbers, you need to top up with your cash savings to pay for the levy (to close the deficit).

Hence, to avoid such situation, its either you increase the sale price (if possible), or go for another project without any resale levy payable.

May I understand your property details so to make better recommendations? Thanks and hope to value-add to your housing plans further.

Resale levy is only payable by cash. As mentioned in the previous posts, maybe you should consider buying a new EC which is not subject to resale levy.

As mentioned yesterday, yes you'll get back a sum short of the accrued interest and principal amount; resale levy is payable by cash.
