Hi Iris,

If you engage the services of an agent, he/she will takr care of preparing all necessary documents. Basically, if any tenant is interested in renting your unit, he/she has to put forward a letter of intent mentioning what the offer is and a cheque addressed to owner as security deposit. If owner agrees to this deal, owner will sign on acceptance of letter of intent and the agent will prepare a set of tenancy agreement for owner to review. If clauses included are agreeable, owner shall sign on the agreement and this will be presented to tenant. Tenant will sign on the agreement if all terms and conditions are acceptable, otherwise will negotiate the terms and conditions with owner until both are agreeable where tenancy agreement will be edited and signed by both. Advance rental will be put forward to owner prior to moving in.
