One needs to be at least 21 years old to be able to have legal ownership of property in Singapore, hence your daughter can't enter into an purchase agreement for now. In this case, you will need to structure a trust with specific conditions for her to take over the property in due time, and would need a law firm to assist. It is also good to plan with someone in mind for a trustee. Its best to consult a law firm for more legacy planning advice.

Hi,

I am afraid this is not possible, as your daughter is below the age of 21 and is not allowed to be a "co-owner" of a property.

What you can do is, to purchase it under your personal name, and do up a Will, and name her as your beneficiary, and appoint a Trustee (who's above age 21). In the unfortunate case of your demise, the Trustee shall only act on the contents of the Will.
